About
This is a small personal site about sea otters, kept by someone who got hooked after watching a raft of them wrapped in kelp off the California coast. It collects notes on how otters live, a few photographs, and advice on watching them without causing harm.
It isn't affiliated with any research group or conservation organisation. If you want to help otters directly, look for the marine mammal rescue and kelp restoration projects active on your stretch of coast.

The notes draw on publicly available material from wildlife agencies and aquariums. Photographs are public domain or CC0 and are credited on the photographs page.
